Kevin M. Brooks, Felony Trial Bureau Chief

Attorney Brooks oversees 93 felony trial lawyers and 23 felony investigators in the District Attorney’s (DA) Office. The Indianapolis, Indiana, native has 17 years of experience practicing law and specializes in criminal law.
Mr. Brooks rejoined the Dallas County DA’s Office in January of 2007 after a previous two-year stint as a prosecutor.

His professional memberships include the State Bar of Texas and Texas District and County Attorneys Association. Mr. Brooks is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, where he earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
