Durrand Hill, Chief, Juvenile Division
Mr. Hill heads up the Juvenile Division in the District Attorney’s
(DA) Office, where he supervises 24 attorneys, 5 investigators
and 10 support staff. The Dallas, Texas, native has 12 years of
experience practicing law and specializes in criminal and child
welfare cases.
Mr. Hill rejoined the Dallas County DA’s Office in January of 2007 after a previous six-year stint as a prosecutor from 1995 to 2001.
His professional and civic memberships include the Dallas Bar Association and J.L. Turner Legal Association. Attorney Hill is a graduate of the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, where he earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and was valedictorian of his law school graduation class. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Texas at Arlington.
