Livia Liu, Chief, Misdemeanor Division

Ms. Liu, who joined the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office in 1994, is the Chief of the Misdemeanor Division.  She manages a total of 36 attorneys, three investigators and 14 support staff.  She has been practicing law for 14 years and specializes in criminal law.  A native of Dallas, Ms. Liu earned a Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston and both Bachelor of Journalism and Bachelor of Science (Radio/TV/Film) degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.  She is a member of the Dallas Bar Association and the Dallas Asian-American Bar Association.
