Julius E. Whittier, Administrative Chief, Division B
Attorney Whittier serves as supervisory chief prosecutor for Division B at the DA’s which encompasses nine courts. Mr. Whittier oversees 29 attorneys and 9 investigators. He rejoined the District Attorney’s Office in January of 2007 after a previous eight-year stint in the office as a prosecutor.
He has practiced law for 26 years and specializes in criminal trial prosecution. The San Antonio, Texas, native earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree at the University of Texas’ School of Law in Austin where he also earned a Master’s degree in public affairs and a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
